Current interests

  • Real-time shadow-mapping algorithms - I feel, that shadow mapping did not tell the last word.?With it's simplicity and the increased speed and capabilities of current hardware I think it is ideal tool for increased realism of the scenes.
  • Real-time soft shadows - such a natural step forward, so hard to do it (fast).
  • General processing on the GPU - everybody now has decent parallel machine in the computer - a GPU.
  • Lighting and shading - new models, more realism, more speed
